eek so lazy to type paragraphs today..
and guess wat?It's already 9.40pm!!
I felt like i juz started using the com.
Anyway talking about the trip down south damn briefly...
we planned to go to pemberton for 2 days 1 night.
set off on thursday drive drive drive about 5 hours den reach.
the chalet's called karri valley resort and it's beautiful!
it's got a lake(waterfall dam actually)and forests and bbq pits and canoes etc.
too bad we reach there so late so we can't do anything.
we walked around abit before returning to the chalet to cook dinner.
mum cooked while dad,ben(bro)and i put wood into the fireplace.
wahh it was fun!
dinner we had vegs,chicken and marrons(something like lobster).
we bought the marron from someone on the way and it was live b4 we cooked it.
it was black when live and it jerks its tail around.scary!
so when it was red on my plate,i still din dare to touch it.
uurgh but in the end i still ate it and it wasn't too bad..
spend the rest of the night(which wasn't much had late dinner)reading "The curious incident of the dog in the night-time".
It's really GOOD i read so much cuz i finally had the time.
Next morning we woke up early and went for the trail thru the karri forest.
the lake was lovely!
it had a layer of mist on it bcoz it was cold in the morning.
i tried breathing out smoke and a few times it worked though there was little...
damn im so unhealthy
there was a part in the trail where u have to walk uphill,cuz it leads to a waterfall,for quite a long distance.
before long i was panting and tired.
gee~
the waterfall isn't that great.not too steep and not enuf water...
we crossed a wooden bridge over the waterfall and it shakes!!
yeh after the trail we went back to the chalet to check out.
while waiting ben and i tried chopping firewood(there was a bench full of firewood and a metal axe on my stump)
a complete failure
at first i couldn't really lift the axe up.
after that cannot aim properly,can't chop the wood up
mum saw us and laughed.
she demo and showed us(got technique leh!)den we try and succeed!!
woohooo!!!!!we also video it down and it's so funny when i watched it later.
After check out of chalet we drove to the Valley of the Giants for the tree top walk.
the tingle trees were like 40m high!
giants indeed...
After that we drove around hoping to book into another place for the night.
drive drive drive landed on albany
again.
we went to rustlers steak house for dinner and it was pretty good..*burp* oops!
den ben and i had to sleep on foldable beds.
it was really CRAP.
the mattress sink right down to the metal bit that supports it underneath when i sit/lie down!
woke up with a bit of a backache..
den it was really time to get home.
aww...
da really bad thing was that we were going for a bbq with dad's friends and families at heath cote straightaway when we reach home!
i really dreaded that coz there are only little kids and the only teenage girl is me,teenage boys form their own group and spend all time talking abt computer games...
but it din turn out that bad afterall!
cuz there was a yr11 girl called Amelia and we chatted and played with the little girls.
we played hide and seek in the BIG dark playground(shaped like a ship,really big).
we played "snatch the soccer ball from the little boys"
we went down to the beach and so on...
had a pretty good time!
anyway..today we had steak for dinner.
feel so guilty.
cuz i had 2 t-bone steak!!
we actually planned to have 1 each at the bbq but there was too much other food.
so we had to bring it back and den end up having 2 slices each!too much..
been having so much steak recently.
dun wanna eat anymore for at least a few months!!!
den while washing the dishes slipped and chipped a nice plate.
arrgh so clumsy of me!
