Last night I went for youth as usual.Only that the service wasn't usual.It was a really enjoyable and kinda emotional night for me...For those that dunno,youth is something like church service. But it's where all people from yr8-yr12(after primary school and before uni)come together.
It started off with me arriving half an hour late again because ben has sailing and everything's in a rush.They were still playing a game of icebreaker when I arrived.After it finished,all of us were asked to stand close together.The cell leaders held hands,forming a semi circle,and pushed all of us together in a huddle.There was hardly any space to move and Vinny lead the worship.He stood right in front of those people in the front row of the huddle,strummed the guitar and sang.Normally all of us would be spaced out to fill the hall and the worship team would be on the stage.But yesterday there was only the guitar and everyone was huddled together.It was really nice.The guitar was all that was needed coz it filled the whole place and I felt so absorbed into the worship.All the songs were great and I just closed my eyes and sang...
I dun really want to go into details about the rest of the service.But all I can say is that when I went to the toilet after being prayed for,my eyes were bloodshot.I looked really horrible.I really have no idea why I cried so much.Anyway,somewhere towards the end of the service,everyone formed a big circle around the whole room and had arms on the shoulders of people left and right of each of us.And we sang a song.I felt like everyone was so close to each other in yesterday's service because of everything we did.It was really really nice...
