I had a good weekend!Especially on saturday...
Saturday:We went to Fengshan market for brunch.I had a plate of carrot cake,grass jelly drink, half a you tiao,half a "butterfly" and some beehoon.So damn full!But also very satisfying,all the yummy food!After that we were supposed to go home,but mum suggested we go tm for some shopping!I was like,OH YEAH!! but Ben was all *groans*...
The first part was real boring cos mum went to G2000 to get some working clothes.I stood there helping her to see which jacket was better.After a while I was bored,so I turned around to glance at the other people in the shop.There was this girl standing diagonally behind me and I just looked past her before turning back again.But subconsciously I saw her face and immediately I turned to look at her.And there was Ashlyn standing in front of me!OMG I really couldn't recognise her.The different haircut and everything,pretty gurl!
Anyway can't be stuffed describing the whole shopping process.Ben and dad went separately to find their own stuff while mum and I shopped together.It was so fun and satisfying.Mum just kept buying and buying but if dad was around,dad would be like,"That one waste money,that skirt too short" etc etc.Spoilsport.And if my bro was around,it'll be far worse!He'll be whining to go home every single second.So on saturday it was cool.We bought clothes from bum equipment, U2,bossini and converse.At converse,I also bought the black high top shoe.I wanted to get lime green laces but they don't sell it,so I plan to get some when I go back to Perth.And mum bought herself a yellow one!She just couldn't resist it.She'll just leave it in Perth for me to wear and she'll wear it whenever she comes to Perth.Hahas another reason I really enjoyed shopping on saturday was also bcoz mum and I bought quite a number of clothes that are identical!Weehee but I dun think I'll wear the same stuff as her to go out.It'll look funny.
For dinner we went to a shop near our house that sells claypot chicken rice.It was quite good.And after dinner we went to grandparents'(mum's side)house.My uncle and family also came after a while since they live near our grandma.They bought durians and rojak for us!I was so full but I still ate them.Wahhh durians........
Sunday: We went to church. 11.15am service at plmc.It was ok,I dun really like it coz everything's so serious in a methodist church.They sing alot of hymns and the sermon is also too serious for my liking.After lunch we went home and I spent the whole afternoon watching the aviva badminton thing.Then mum had to go for a wedding dinner and ben,dad and I went to maxwell market for dinner.So many shops were closed and I was pissed coz there's practically nothing interesting to eat!I just settled for chicken rice.Haix after dinner we went to visit my dad's side grandparents.
And that was my first weekend in Singapore.Ok shall end here.
