Been ever SO busy the past weeks..Never ever got a chance to use the computer.Even when I did,I'm so rushed to complete an assignment or something...

Last thursday we drove up north to Kalbarri(abt 6 hours' drive and Kalbarri's off the coastline)just for a short holiday over the weekend.4 days 3 nights. We went fishing off the jetty at Kalbarri and all of us caught some fishes!
I caught 4 fishes in total but they were all undersize so we had to throw them back.Rather disappointing...Oh but I actually caught a cooning(dunno how to spell,u know the fried fish used in nasi lemak?)that we can bring back. But dammit,it slipped out of my dad's hand and dropped back to the water through the gaps of the jetty planks!!My fiisssshhhh.........

Anyway my dad and brother managed to catch 4 mulloways that are not undersize and we had that for dinner on the second night of our stay(friday night). It was SO good! The fish was so fresh, soft and sweet!Mum steamed it with garlic, ginger, mushrooms and tomatoes and probably marinated it in some way,but yeah it smelt and tasted really good. The smell straightaway tells you that it's done in a chinese style.Steaming..mushrooms...yumm!

Oh on friday we spent the whole afternoon going round to different lookout spots in the national park(Kalbarri is in this huge national park). The national park has a lot of interesting rock formations. There was this Nature's Window which is all these big rocks unevenly on top of one another with a sort of squarish gap in the middle like a window(cut by the wind for millions of years?)and the "window" frames the Murchinson River and it's a really beautiful view! Then we also went to see the Z-Bend which was a lookout point on high ground where you can see the Murchinson River forming a Z shape.Wasn't as interesting as the Nature's Window. We also went to see the "Hawks Head" but when we got there we didn't see any rocks shaped like the head of a hawk so that was disappointing..And the last one we went to was "Ross Graham".We parked our car on the high ground and followed the path down the hill and walked right down to the Murchinson River! It was so peaceful and the water's really clear and serene! We touched the water and ahh,it felt so cool!Just felt like jumping into the river for a swim man!!

The next morning(saturday)we checked out of Seafront Villa and drove down to Julian Bay.On the way we went to quite a number of lookout points. They were all really good! There was this spot for snorkelling where there's a reef in very shallow water near the shore and behind the reef are these white waves crashing..It was hell cool!

We also went to this Rainbow Jungle which was actually sth like a birdpark.Lots of pretty birds in cages or flying around.*snAp snap*take a photo!
When we reached Jurian Bay,it was about 5.30pm and we straightaway went to the jetty and fished. That was when I caught the cooning fish that got away. That's the only fish anyone of us caught..It seems like there weren't any fishes that day at that jetty. We fished until 7pm + before going to our deluxe chalet for dinner.Dad cooked his best dish-FRIED RICE!!!
Oooh I ate SO much, like really stuffed myself man! Then we went back to the jetty to fish again. However,we didn't catch anything at all.=( One guy at the jetty caught a seasnake! It was damn poisonous and those guys cut it's head off before throwing it back into the sea.Uurgh it was gross...

Then next morning(sunday)we checked out at 12pm and drove back to Perth. We reached Perth around 5pm+ and then booked a table at this Jade Seafood Restaurant in the city.A steamboat buffet to celebrate my mum's birthday in advance! Her birthday's on 15th Sep and we can't celebrate with her coz she went to China on the 13th Sep for a holiday.
I reckon the steamboat was alright, nothing too special.Although can't deny the fact that I overate again..oops!
When we returned home, dad, ben and I surprised mum with birthday cards and presents!I bought her a REALLY CUTE little wombat soft toy from Rainbow Jungle(and she actually squealed in delight when she saw my present to her!)and ben & I shared a card and signed it.I'm glad she was happy with the presents and stuff.Hope she has a great birthday TOMORROW!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY IN ADVANCE!
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH,BESTEST MUM IN DA WORLD!!!

And monday went to school as usual, only to be bombed with so many end-of-term assignments and tests.I thought about it and every subject has either an assignment due soon or a test coming up.So horrible!I've been like doing homework from dinner time to bed time the past few nights!!Arggh I was especially busy with my stool design for woodwork.Have to get it all DONE by next tuesday coz Mr Kenrick said everyone must start on making our stool on tuesday. So many measurements and drawings I was going mad.But I kinda enjoyed it actually...

Ok I better go now,was actually supposed to be doing my english assignment but spent a hell lot of time on blogging.Still haven't checked any emails.won't have time...ahh oh well ok endding...
