HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!
I'm gonna write in RED today.
Hehe..
This is the second CNY we celebrated in perth
and it's not very exciting and traditional this year..
Yesterday went to the church celebration
but the food wasn't that great.
Most people turned up with chicken
since that's the easiest thing to cook in the morning.
But dessert was much better.
There was sago,agar agar,NIAN GAU!!,cakes and cookies..
Only nian gau was related to CNY though.
NOW,we're going off to another gathering with parent's friends.
And we're bringing glutinous rice there.
Luckily,I believe tonight the food will be more "CNY-like"
since we're among "close" friends.
Heard there's gonna be "lou(1)hei(2)" and lor hiang..
And lotsa other stuff...
This afternoon we had dumplings for lunch and that was so good!
Lotsa effort and time but worth it!
Ok I really gotta run now.BYe!
