Hehe I was baptised last sunday!
I felt SO nervous,we had to sit through an "interview" with a pastor and a leader and before being baptised each of us get to say something/give a testimony in front of the church.Yeah it's a happy occasion and my parents gave me and my brother(he got baptised too)each a bible.. =D
That same night we managed to resolve some issues in our family and thank God for that :)
I went to watch Mr Bean on friday but I didn't find it that funny,did u guys?I thought alot of it was just lame and silly.But anyway,I can't wait to watch Spiderman 3,Shrek 3 and Pirates of the Carribean!!! Yay spidy's coming out next week :D
But so unfortunately,school resumed on monday.This 2 weeks holiday I only went to Augusta and had ONE day of real holiday-which was last friday.Even then,I still had to clean the house and practise piano.What crap,I just needed a couple of days to really sit down and finish watching Song of the Prince!School started means even less time to watch tv but luckily for today,it's Anzac Day!Public holiday!I woke up early to watch tv but now mum's watching her show.We kinda hafta split the tv times in half...
Anyway term 2 has just started and my diary is like full of homework from every main subject.And I've gotta catch up with an assignment for science just because I wasn't at school on the last day of term 1.Now in english,an essay carried on from last term is due next monday and i haven't even started my planning.=( For s&e,I don't give a shit.Erm,I think we're doing something about population and poverty now,yeah I have a crap teacher.As for maths,we're starting on measurement-stuff like area perimeter blablabla.So boring...2 days into term 2 and I'm already sick of school.
In phys ed we're doing lacrosse which seems quite alright.The first time I tried to throw the ball it actually rolled off my net and fell behind me,then the second time I tried to throw,it landed right in front of me because of the way I swung the net.Lols so hopeless.
As for rackets class,we're doing badminton on tue and squash on thu!So yesterday we were in the gym doing badminton=)I reckon the school really needs to invest into getting better rackets and shuttle cocks.We have to use plastic shuttle cocks and the rackets seem like those you can get from the $2 shop.Can't get anywhere hitting those around.As for squash tomorrow,we're going to the squash courts outside school.Haha I've NEVER played squash before.
Oh in health we're also starting on stuff that'll help us get our driver's liscense when we're old enough to.We have to learn all these stuff and 5 weeks later take a theory test.If we pass we'll get a certificate and when we turn 16(nooo...wait till august next year!)we can take it to get some discount and don't have to take a theory test to get our L plate again.So good right..Hehe
Anyway I've decided to really cut down my shifts at HJ..I'm only gonna work on thu and sat and it'll be less than 15 hours.Dunno if that means I'll have to become casual instead of part time.But I guess that's good no matter what happens,cos then on tues I can go to the movies for the cheaper ticket price!Lols.
At the same time,last night was one of the shittiest shift I've ever had in HJ!Actually, I'm very lucky because I finished work at 9.30pm but it's the shits for people who had to continue working.And I just feel so sorry and so upset for them.Really,there were only 5 of us working last night.One duty manager,me(front counter),John(drive thru),Daryl(burger) and another new guy who's just hopeless at everything.It was totally Terrance's mistake to not have enough people on shift last night!When I had to leave,Daryl was on break so Sha the manager had to make the burgers,cook the fries and basically do everything in the kitchen.Then John had to do the whole of drive thru plus front counter,which is basically serving EVERY customer.That new guy is as good as not being there.
So imagine this,drive thru is packed,front counter is full,the orders fill the whole screen and there's literally 2 people managing all of that. 1 person in front. 1 person at the back.WHAT WAS TERRANCE THINKING ABOUT MAN? Both of them are doing like 3 or 4 people's job!! It took like 13 minutes to get one order out of drive thru and I'm sure the customers were so pissed off. I stayed back a couple of minutes to help out but eventually had to go cos I thought dad would've been outside waiting to pick me home.Besides,it's illegal for me to work any later than 9.30pm.Who knows he wasn't there so I went back to HJ and called his mobile.He told me he was at a friend's house and they got his friend's son to come pick me up and I was told to go out quickly as he might arrive anytime.Just then I caught a glimpse of the pressure on John's face.It was like he's gonna explode any moment,and he's a really nice and friendly guy most of the time.Omg,it must be the shits for him.Even watching that situation last night made me so upset,angry and SO very sorry for him.
Sigh....That's why people quit HJ. John's quitting in 2 weeks and Daryl is also gonna quit soon if Terrance don't answer his request.Losing 2 valuable people..Oh noo another front counter friend of mine is also quitting.It's her last week.Shit,everyone's quitting and HJ has so many hopeless people like that new guy last night.So sad a case.It must've been a nightmare for John and Sha last night.Haiz...
