SIGH SORRY GUYS FOR LIKE VANISHING AND NOT POSTING.

It's been weirdly busy the last week or so.EVen after the exams and with the hols coming up the following week,there was all these tests and homework stacking up day after day last week!
Just can't be stuffed doing the work eh,and they keep piling up making my diary so full of writing.

Anyway I can't wait till the holidays!I hope to be working alot to save up and earn as much as I can.Got too many things I wanna buy!It's nuts really.

And guys we'll be heading to that shobu shobu thing on 10th july for caleb's bday right!? I'm gonna take the day off work for that day.

Second week of hols we've got a youth camp for 3 or 4 days,and the day after the camp ends we have this dinner and dance for yr 11&12s. Truthfully,I'm more nervous than excited. I'm clueless I guess.No dress no bag no shoes.No hairdos and makeups.
Worst of all,mum's leaving for Switzerland the day before the d&d,when I'm at the camp!SO there's no help:( I have to try make clarissa help me out.
Probably do some shopping the first week of hols.(I haven't been shopping much at all this year!So proud!!YAY)

Urrrhh so much to say but I wanna sleep...
Today was quite a busy day.MOrning I went delivery those pamphlet things.Then went to the banks to sort out some superannuation accounts etc.It took way longer than I expected!

So came back home round about 12pm and grab random stuff for lunch quickly.I had planned to bake 2 batches of brownies before having to work at 3pm.Brownies,what a crazy idea.I feel like some kitchen disaster esp when cooking/baking alone.The whole idea started cos tmr is JUNIE'S B'DAY!She's this singaporean chick who works at subway too and she's very similar to me,somehow.She's cool:D

Yeah,so when I told mum I was gonna bake,she wanted to bring some out for tea with her friends.And I wanted to bring some to sch on mon,so I ended up baking 2 batches.Sheesshh I'm glad my dad was at home when I was baking and he saved me a couple times from disasters.

Almost BIGGG DISASTER: I popped the 250g block of butter into the microwave with the aluminuim foil wrap on, and it ALMOST exploded on my face.I was SAVED and still am living today because the moment I popped it in mindlessly,my mum and dad screamed at the same time and at that moment I saw a blue spark from the butter and I quickly hit the stop button. Opened up the microwave and it smelt burnt. That was only 4 SECONDS of microwaving aluminium.SHIT!!!!!Scared the hell outta me,.

NExt thing(actually there's alot but I dun have time to say them all),the damn american recipe book said "Preheat the oven to 350 degrees".
I looked at the oven,it only goes to 225 degrees.THe highest was "max".ANd thinking because the writer of the recipe book must be using some kinda pro oven and ours was too crap for such high temperatures,I just turned it to the max temperature.

Popped the 1st batch of brownies in and 10 mins later or sth,..
I glanced at it and saw irregular inflation on the surface of the brownie.OK weird,.
Then looked carefully again and this time saw it turning black on the surface!WTH!
BURNING!>?
Then I asked my dad and together,yup yup it took two of us..we figured that the recipe is in bloody fahrenheit.And that should be about 175 degrees celsiucs(how to spell this stupid word?) not 350 degrees celscius!Shit,so noob.

Well whatever it is,I'm glad ppl at work liked it:)
See everything's not too bad as long as it turns out alright.
Afterall,it is from a really good american baking book!


Oh damn I forgot to take pictures of the first time I baked brownies myself!
Arhh nvm,they didn't LOOK too good anyway.Breaking apart and all cos I was cutting them up too soon before they cool..
