Heyy
Sorry didn't have any time to post, and I'm sacrificing some sleep now cos there's things that happened and I wanna share them :)
OK.
Back to..last thu.
I met up with Chengqian and Yingzhi(pri sch friends!)at Coffee Club in siglap. My first time there, it had a pretty nice ambience. Cushiony sofas and bright orange everywhere! Yingzhi and Chengqian were still as chatty as ever, and it was so fun talking to them. I think when we first met it started just a little bit awkward, but haha we sure warmed up pretty fast and soon there wasn't a moment of silence. Just lots of chatting :D And I believe we all had a good time really.
Hmm as for the food, it was quite pricey but nice. I had an ice cream lychee drink and I almost choked on the first sip cos it tasted surprisingly alcoholic. Lol. Then had the "really huge chicken sandwich" and muddy mud cake for dessert! Yumm.
Haha we chatted from 12pm to 5pm.. After yingzhi left to go for swimming, chengqian and I went to the hawker centre to get more food. He ate 2 bowls of noodles, crap! And it was like cheaper than half the things we ate at coffee club lol lol.
Hawker food is reallllly cheap :):)
On fri, we were just running errands I think. Then we went to Joshua's house again for a sleepover. We swam in their condo pool, and lol I was tired after a couple of laps. My stupid toes also cramped when I did freestyle, wtf? I need more exercise I swear.
I watched Good luck chuck that night, it was quite funny! Watch it ppl!
Also watched hairspray, that was so-so for me.
Sat. (crap,it's so difficult to recall what happened)
We went to Fengshan Market in Bedok for lunch. It's our childhood foodplace, we used to go there every sat to grocery shop and have lunch when we were little kids. All the good ol times :) I had fried carrot cake, my fave grass jelly drink, lor mai gai, and mee pok. SOOO full by the end of it. And they're so nice, so cheap too. Like 60cents for a cup of drink. And $2.50 for a bowl of noodles. Wahhhhhhhh XD
Had dinner at a family friend's house. We played mahjong(this is one thing I've learnt in singapore this trip back hahaha) and halo on xbox(which was surprisingly fun only cos we made it fun. otherwise it's so gay a game). And I was attempting to learn the rubik's cube from Kimberly AGAIN but failed AGAIN. GRRR. My IQ's freaking low lol. How pathetic.
Sun.
WE WENT TO SENTOSA!!~
With my uncle's family and our family.
I must say, it was fun cos the last time I been there I was a reallly little kid. I don't rmb anything from that place, so this time it was like total touristing around lol.
When we entered the place, I saw the merlion and it was shockingly HUGE!! So much bigger than I expected or possibly recalled, it's like 20 storeys high or sth. Damn huge shucks.
Okay, we parked our car in sentosa, took the cable car away from sentosa and took the monorail back just for experience. Cable car was quite cool. I was just imagining a cable car in aust, above the clear blue ocean. It would be so much more breathtaking than the small singapore sea filled with huge ships and cruises, and on the land full of buildings and a ton of construction and cranes. Two years from now, sentosa will have so many more things-including UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!
Yep,anyway. Beacuse of our cousins and the ticket packages, we ended up taking the luge and skyride 3 times each! Took up so much time, but it was the most fun. The luge is like a go kart, but it's much slimmer, lower to the ground and smaller. And there's no pedals, you just pull back the handlebar to brake, push forward to accelerate. Cool eh. And the whole 650m journey is "powered" by gravity. The skyride is exactly like a chairlift.
Then we took the Tiger SKy Tower. IT's a 50 storey high tower, takes you to the top in a airconed container to view stuff. We were so hoping for a free fall, but noooo it was slow and controlled for viewing scenery purposes sigh lol.
We missed the dolphin show and underwater world which was a reallllll pity cos that was like the main highlight! Saddd sad, but we'll definitely go next time.
As the day turned to night, we went to watch the performance of "Songs of the Sea". It was like an oopen air performance. We sat at a platform and the beach was in front of us. The sea had a row of huts which were filled with equipment for lights and water and fireworks. IT was really cool, but sorry I'm too brain dead to describe anything now. I'll post a video sometime. Basically there was some storyline with ppl acting on the beach and at the same time visual effects were created in midair projected by the huts on the sea. And additionally, real hot fire were exploded from the huts and beach, as well as laser lights, other lights and fireworks at the end. It was pretty cool!
Didn't get to look at the sentosa beach cos it was drizzling towards the end of the day. So many more places to explore the next time we come! :D
OKay, as for today.
Dad brought me to go get my I.C.(identification card) done in the morning together with Jamaica(perth's church friend). Then he had to run alot of errands cos he's flying back to perth tmr. Jamaica and I went shopping at Bugis Junction, Bugis Street, Century SQuare and Tampines Mall! Boy, and she spent FOREVER in the DVD/CD shops. Like an hour in one shop and we went to quite a couple of them too! She spent hundreds on dramas and music cds, tut. I bought two dramas today-Hot shot and Fated to Love You.
Also, I went to go get my eyesight checked and glasses made in Simei today. GOod news!
My left eye went down from 150 to 125 degrees! And my right eye went down from 25 to 0 degrees! OMG lalas~ That's super fantastic.
We're starting to worry about luggage load man. I think we're all gonna exceed the given baggage weight, there's just so much stuff from no where! What the.
Also,I'm so super lucky but so nervous for tmr! Tmr shall be the start of my one week dental attachment. Kinda like "apprenticeship". Through some lucky contacts, I managed to get to follow around and observe what dentists do for this whole week. I'm really considering dentistry for my uni studies, but I guess this attachment will give me a better perspective of things and help me decide more clearly! Looking forward to it!
Unfortunately, since dad is flying back to perth at 6am, I shall have to catch the train and bus there everyday! It's like from the west to east of spore omg.. Start work at 8.45am, so I gotta leave the house at 7.15am and wake up by 6.30am shucks!!! And it's now 12.30pm, blehhh 6 hours of sleep.Kill me.
ANw, better slp now. BYE :)
